: a group of cortical areas of the cerebrum that receive sensory input from the olfactory bulb via the olfactory tract, includes the piriform cortex and parts of the olfactory tubercle, amygdala, and entorhinal cortex, and is probably concerned with the subjective evaluation of olfactory stimuli
